Yay! Yay! It`s Hinode Festival`s first day!

Why are the red demons crying?

On the first day of Hinode Festival we enjoyed plays, music and dance.

The Second-Grade students showed us a play with good red demons and bad blue demons who cause trouble for people in the village. 

What a crazy but fun play! They are throwing fruit around and destroying the shop.

Thankfully in the end the blue demons made friends with the red demons and humans too.

In the afternoon we enjoyed great dances from the dance club. What great style, what fantastic dancing!

The music club wore cute Disney costumes and sang and played Disney music. We felt like we were at Disneyland.

We are all tired after a busy day of performances, but we are looking forward to Hinode Festival`s second day and seeing all the great displays around the school.

Please come to the English display in 3-2. All the students from Grade 1 to Grade 6 worked very hard and made great English projects.

The Grade One flower garden. Each student wrote and drew on a flower all about themselves.

 “My House” by grade 2. The students wrote sentences about their families (e.g. This is my mother. She is in the kitchen. She is cooking). They drew pictures and decorated their houses so beautifully.

Look! The houses are in cute towns for display. Which town do you want to live in?
